FINALISTS & WINNER SELECTION

This Contest is a skill-based contest. Chance plays no role in determining the selection of finalists or the winner.

Finalists and the winner of the Contest will be selected by Booksy, or a judging panel designated by Booksy, based on predetermined evaluation criteria designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and goal-aligned selection process.

All eligible submissions will be reviewed and scored by a panel of Booksy representatives using a standardized 100-point scoring rubric. Submissions will be evaluated across weighted categories including: Story and Demonstrated Business Need (30 points); Impact and Feasibility of the proposed use of the $5,000 Re-Up funds (25 points); Effort and Engagement, including the quality and authenticity of submitted materials and photographs (20 points); Growth Mindset and Long-Term Business Vision (15 points); and Relevance to and Impact within the Orlando community (10 points). Each judge may assign scores in each category, and scores may be averaged to determine a final cumulative score for each eligible participant. Following this initial scoring round, the three (3) highest-scoring eligible participants will be selected as Finalists. Finalists will then be re-evaluated and re-scored using the same standardized 100-point rubric, and the Finalist with the highest cumulative score in the second round of judging will be selected as the one (1) Grand Prize Winner.

The full scoring rubric is available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BdszuBsh6IExEduw88tOsdIQ0uUPFsssrBhYqT42spE/edit?tab=t.vhhuek91g7cu . All judging decisions are final and binding.

  • Based on the evaluation of eligible submissions, Booksy intends to select up to three (3) finalists. From among the selected finalists, one (1) winner will be chosen.
  • The finalists will be announced through Booksy’s official social media channels, including Instagram, on April 1, 2026. The winner will be announced through the same channels on April 13, 2026.
  • All decisions made by Booksy and/or the judging panel are final and binding. The judging panel has the authority and responsibility to interpret and apply the participation guidelines and evaluation criteria and to ensure their proper implementation. There is no appeal process, and no correspondence or claims relating to the selection of finalists or the winner will be considered.
  • Booksy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, not to select three (3) finalists and/or a winner if the number or quality of eligible submissions does not permit such selection in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, the applicable evaluation criteria, or relevant laws and regulations.
  • The identity of any finalist and/or winner may be verified at any time through valid government-issued identification, including but not limited to a state-issued identification card, passport, or driver’s license.

PRIZE

  • The winner will receive a monetary prize in the amount of USD $5,000 (the “Prize”).
